What you get
- A card above the shelf on the home page: your name, a 200-character pitch, a link, and an optional model and base URL. It carries a "Sponsored" label and sits outside the table.
- An entry in every API response.
GET /api/llm/upcarries a separate top-levelsponsoredfield. Most of this site's readers are scripts and agents, and they read that field. - Real probe data, if your endpoint is on the shelf. The card and the API entry show what our own calls measured, failures included. We do not edit it.
- A click count. Every link goes through
/go/sponsor, so we can tell you how many followed it.
What it never does
- It never appears in the
modelsarray and never changes its order.models[0]is still the best-ranked verified model and the rest is still the fallback chain. - It never affects a probe, a ranking or a verdict. Sponsors are not tested differently and cannot buy a green dot.
- It is never unlabelled. The page says "Sponsored"; the API field says
"sponsored": trueand carries a notice in words.
Who sees it, last 30 days
This is a small audience and it is mostly programs. These figures are read from the live record when you load this page.
- API figures exclude clients that identify as crawlers and our own requests. A client identifier rotates every UTC day by design, so "client-days" counts a program once for each day it called: three days of one program is three.
- Human visitors come from Plausible, which filters known bots and uses no cookies, read 21 min ago. Most of them arrive directly, not from search.
- We do not quote the server's raw "sessions" count (the "visitors" figure on /stats). It is dominated by automated traffic with spoofed referrers, and a sponsor sold on it would be buying an audience that is mostly not there.

What we need: provider name, a pitch of up to 200 characters, and the link (an affiliate or tracking link is fine; it must be https). Optional: a model and base URL, and a start date. Checkout collects the first three; email the rest, or ask anything, at [email protected].
